FAQ

Where and how do we board Sandbar Joe’s? Our home dock is at Bayview Marina on 26 th in North Wildwood. You will see the boat docked up front on the left. We also pick groups up from the Stone Harbor Marina on 81 st Street.

What is the Cancelation Policy? There are no refunds if you cancel your cruise. In the event of a weather cancelation, a refund or reschedule cruise will be offered.

What time should I arrive? There is plenty of parking at the marinas but do plan to arrive about 10 minutes before your sailing so we can properly check in each member of your party.

Is there a dress code? No but we do invite guests to dress up for the boat – whatever your vibe is… casually stylish, comfortable, no shower happy hour, formal or beach wedding.

Are menu substitutions allowed? The dinner cruise is a 6-course meal. The food choices are determined upon making your reservation. If there are special requests, we will present them to our chef.

Is there a bathroom on board? We do not have a bathroom on board. In the event of a bathroom emergency, the captain will try to pull over.

What is Sandbar Joe’s Safety Policy? On all voyages passengers are required to sign a liability wavier. Cruising is always “at will” and subject to whatever weather mother nature deals. In the event of inclement weather where voyages are not possible a refund will be given, or credit will be issued for a future sailing. All captains are US Coast Guard licensed, first aid & CPR certified, and adhere to random drug testing. The boat is also inspected yearly and fully insured. No smoking is allowed on the vessel.

How long is the cruise? Each cruise is 2 hours long. The experience starts as soon as you arrive at the dock.

Are children allowed? We love children! And even small dogs, as long as they do not interfere with the crew.

What if I have an allergy or dietary restrictions? Please let us know when filling out your reservation. We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Should we tip the crew? Yes, tips are greatly appreciated, and custom for charters, but not mandatory. Our crews work hard, and the service is always impeccable. Our crew loves cash, but we also take Venmo.

Do you have a waitlist? Yes, please join our waitlist in case we do not have availability. We try to add more voyages when possible, depending on the tides and time of day. Also follow us on social @SandbarJoes for any specials or info on new launches!

Is smoking allowed? Smoking of any kind is not allowed. Our boat is also a working kitchen. And the boat does have gasoline outboard.
